Nick Hay has over 20 years’ experience in the food and logistics sectors and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Fowler Welch in 2010.
During his time at Fowler Welch, Nick has successfully overseen around 20% growth in the company’s core business by adapting to the Fowler Welch ethos of listening, responding and delivering to its customers.
Innovative new strategies include the implementation of telematics across the whole of its fleet, helping to improve its MPG and efficiency.
During this time, Fowler Welch has enabled its customers to react to a volatile and unpredictable market, whilst investing in new premises. This has helped to increase flexibility and responsiveness to customer needs, in turn reducing costs through the simplifying of the supply chain.
